Feltbound ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Ironwood Associates, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our poker game. Feltbound is primarily a solo poker game played against AI personalities. You can also invite specific friends to share a table — either asynchronously or live in person, including a Party Mode you can cast to a TV where people and AI play at the same table. Feltbound is not a social network: there is no friends list, no public profiles, and no way to discover or be discovered by other players — you only ever play with people you invite directly. The game is played with virtual chips only — there is no real-money wagering, deposits, or payouts.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal basis for processing your information is the performance of our contract with you — providing the game, your account, and the features you choose to use. Where we process a limited amount of data to keep the game safe (such as content moderation and preventing abuse), we rely on our legitimate interest in protecting the service and its players.
We use third-party AI providers to power the AI poker players and the optional coaching feature. Feltbound is not a general-purpose chatbot — for most players, the AI is limited to in-game opponents. The information sent to these providers is limited to:
We do not send your email address, sign-in identifiers, or IP address to these AI providers. Our current providers include OpenAI, Google, xAI, and Groq, and we may add or change providers over time. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and terms.
To keep the game safe, free text you submit (such as a profile bio, a display name, chat or table talk, and custom AI-personality descriptions), along with text we send to our AI providers, is screened through OpenAI's content-moderation service. This is used only to detect and block inappropriate content.
If — and only if — you choose to generate a profile avatar from a description or from a photo you upload, the image or prompt is sent to an image-generation provider (Runware) to create the avatar. This is entirely opt-in: we never upload your photos unless you initiate it.
Some premium features, such as coaching, are offered as a paid subscription. Any payments are processed by the app store you subscribe through (the Apple App Store or Google Play); we receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not receive or store your full payment card details. The poker game itself is always played with virtual chips — a subscription unlocks features, it is never a wager or a deposit.
We use cookies and similar local storage to keep you signed in, maintain your session, and (for guests) enforce fair-use limits. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
If you turn on notifications (for example, to be told when it's your turn), we store a device push token issued by Apple (APNs) or Google (FCM) so we can deliver those notifications to your device. The token identifies your device, not you personally, and is used only to send you game notifications. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
We use Sentry to capture error and diagnostic reports that help us find and fix problems. During signed-in, non-administrator use, Sentry keeps a rolling buffer in the app of recent on-screen activity, including gameplay and any chat messages visible on screen. The buffer is sent to Sentry as a session replay when an error occurs or when you open the bug-report form. Opening that form can send the replay even if you close it without submitting feedback. If you do submit feedback, you can also choose to include a screenshot. Reports may contain technical details and an account identifier so we can investigate the issue. We do not attach your email address to these reports as your account identity; it is sent with submitted feedback only if you choose to enter it in the feedback form. Your display name does appear, and if you signed in with Google or Apple without a name on file we may have created that display name from the first part of your email address. Sentry processes this data under its own privacy policy.
Your data is stored and processed in the United States, and is accessed by us from the United States. Our AI and infrastructure providers may process data in the United States and other countries (see AI Providers above). If you use Feltbound from outside the United States — including from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom — your information is transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your own country. Where these transfers require safeguards, we put appropriate ones in place with our providers (for example, Standard Contractual Clauses). We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We retain your account and game data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Account): your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period, during which you can restore it by signing back in. More detailed operational records (such as AI request logs) are kept for up to 120 days and then deleted. The information sent to AI providers is limited and contains little or no personal data, and you can remove the optional profile details you provided (your bio and avatar) at any time. Guests can clear their guest session at any time from the same screen.
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to:
You can exercise account deletion directly in the app, or contact us using the details below for any other request.
Feltbound depicts simulated gambling and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by the app's store rating. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the effective date.
